BaseLedgerPro was built to fill that gap. We took the fundamentals of double-entry bookkeeping — the same standard CPAs and auditors rely on — and built a clean, modern interface around them. Bank sync, reconciliation, invoicing, financial reports — everything a small business actually needs, without the complexity they don't.
The Firm plan came out of conversations with accounting practices who were managing client books across multiple platforms, emailing spreadsheets, and logging into separate accounts for every client. We built a firm portal that lets a bookkeeper manage 50 clients from one dashboard, under their own brand. It became one of the most-requested features we've built.
